When?

Every Thursday, from 6:30pm to 8pm

Our program runs from the start of September until mid-June, with the exception of any holidays.

Where?

We meet at 5 Star Camps, thanks to their generous usage of their property!

We run an outdoors program!

Bring Adventure to Life!

Beavers participate in a variety of fun and educational activities designed to help them develop important life skills while fostering a sense of adventure, teamwork, and community involvement.

Camping

We love our family camps, whether tenting in fall and spring, or cabins in winter. Themed adventure weekends await them, and we encourage families to join us.

Outdoor Skills

We lay the groundwork for outdoor skills, from basic knots to compasses and maps, that older sections will expand on.  Outdoor safety is our key focus!

Nature Exploration

Beavers explore the natural world around them, engaging in hikes and learning how to Leave No Trace and how to respect the world we live on.

Winter in Canada

We don’t stop in winter – from sledding to snowshoeing, skating to ice fishing, we’re always looking for ways to stay active and enjoy our Canadian winters!

Life Skills & Leadership

Our programs aren’t run by the adults (Scouters), even Beavers start to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and self-confidence!

FrienDship & Leadership

Build lasting friendships in a supportive and inclusive environment, while learning to gain independence.  Grow personally, and socially.

Community Involvement

Participate in projects that contribute positively to our community, such as leaf raking, garbage cleanup, and food drives.

Earning Badges

As Beavers develop new skills they can earn badges, which advance through their Scouting journey, or apply to the personal achievements of Beavers.
