Prepare for Registration
Let's cover everything you need to have ready to volunteer as a Scouter.
Register on MyScouts
Apply to 1st Carp, and complete the initial online steps.
Submit a PRC Request
Obtain a Police Record Check from OPS or the OPP.
Online Training
Complete online training on leadership and Scouter skills.
Final Interview
As your last step, you'll participate in an interview with fellow Scouters.

How long is the training
The training comes out to around 5 hours, depending on how quickly you absorb it, and the role you are applying for.
Scouter Cost
There will be a cost to complete Module 4, Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders, however you will be able to submit your receipt for reimbursement.
Access Training
You’ll need to login to your MyScouts profile, to ensure the training is marked as completed by you.
If you and someone else are applying at the same time, you will each need to login and complete it, individually. There is no option for you to complete it together.
