Your donations supply the Food Bank year round, available to all West Carleton residents in need.

Saturday December 13th @ 10am the 1st Carp Scouts – including Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Venturers – will be collecting non-perishable food items door-to-door in support of your local West Carleton Food Access Centre.

Please leave your food donations at your front door or end of your driveway ready for pickup.

Do not include food with expired dates, these cannot be distributed.

If you prefer to donation money rather than goods, please donated directly on their website at the link below. Your donation may be eligible for a tax receipt.

What Items are Needed?

Most needed non-perishable items

  • Canned fish, meat, fruit, and vegetables
  • Pasta and pasta sauce
  • Rice and instance oatmeal or cereal
  • Peanut butter
  • Dry beans and legumes

Essential supplies

  • Baby diapers, food, and formula
  • Toiletries such as toothpaste and mouthwash
  • Household cleaning supplies
  • Feminine hygiene products

Other accepted items

  • Canned stews and chili
  • Jello
  • Cookies
